Pushkin's New Bag

by Rebecca Masters, illustrated by Chris Bent

Pushkin's New Bag is the delightful story of Pushkin, a lovable schnoodle (part schnauzer, part poodle) who, upon becoming aware of the problem of too many plastic bags in landfills, sets about trying to do his part to help the planet.   The book recounts Pushkin's misadventures as he tries to reduce his use of plastic bags.

Every page of Pushkin's New Bag is beautifully illustrated by award winning artist, Chris Bent.  The book also features a page for parents with useful information about the very real problem of plastics in our landfills.

The story is a fun way for children to learn about the environment and reinforces the importance of not giving up when trying to solve a difficult problem.  It is is the first in a planned series called The Adventures of Pushkin the Schnoodle.
